The X-wing’s distinctive S-foils, which open into an “X” shape during combat, provide increased stability and firepower, making it ideal for dogfights and precision attacks. This feature also helped it stand out visually, emphasizing the Rebels' ingenuity and adaptability, and has made the X-wing one of the most iconic starships in sci-fi history.
