Mandalore: The homeworld of the Mandalorians was initially depicted as a barren desert, but later lore introduced Mandalore’s lush past, showing how wars and over-mining transformed it into the scarred landscape seen in the galaxy’s later years.

Death Star II: Unlike the first Death Star, which was fully operational, the second was left visibly incomplete to highlight its rushed construction. Its superlaser dish was deliberately larger, symbolizing the Empire's focus on destruction at the cost of finishing the structure.

Scarif: The tropical setting of Scarif, featured as the location of the Empire’s archive, was inspired by real-world paradises like the Maldives. Interestingly, its idyllic beauty contrasts sharply with its role as a center of Imperial control.

Yavin IV: The rebel base on Yavin IV was filmed at the ancient Mayan ruins of Tikal, Guatemala. The choice of location was inspired by the real-world temples' resemblance to the towering, jungle-covered structures described in early concept art.
